Visit the place where Carl XI och Carl XII lived during 16th - 17th century.

In 1700, the night between September 30 and October 1, King Carl XII lived in house number 400 in the Christianopel district. There, even his father Carl XI had lived 24 years earlier. Unfortunatly the house has been torn down.

The place where the house once was located can be found Hamngatan/Lotsgatan.

See pictures of the house on the right. Paintings by Leif Lagercrantz.
